I know several people in their late 50s who aren’t ready to retire but are ready to pull back on their 40-plus-hour-a-week schedules. What is the best way to request moving from full to part time without risking management deciding it would be best to say “no” and let them go?
“Transitioning from full-time to part-time work in a late career can be a delicate process,” says Chris Kille, founder of the payment-processing service Payment Pilot and the virtual-assistant service Elevate Outsourcing.
