Michigan Invests $1.9 Million To Boost Career Training Through Apprenticeship Programs

Programs supporting career training are getting $1.9 million in grant funding.

In partnership with the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO), Gov. Gretchen Whitmer awarded $1.9 million in State Apprenticeship Expansion grant funding into workforce development programs, directly benefitting 287 additional Michiganders through access to Registered Apprenticeship programs, LEO officials said.
