With President Donald Trump and his conservative backers waging an offensive against diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) practices in both government agencies and private business, the decision by many leading companies to strategically step away from their equal opportunity programs isn’t surprising.
But as that retreat continues, the a wider public reaction appears to be strengthening the support for DEI across U.S. workplaces, where those policies are considered both vital and valuable by employers and staff alike.
