Iowa Workforce Development has announced a new initiative beginning in late June that aims to revitalize the state’s manufacturing industry.
Manufacturing companies will soon be able to apply for grants to design employer-led training programs.
The Advanced Manufacturing Pathways Development (AMP’D) Iowa initiative is part of a $4.7M grant from the Department of Labor’s Industry-Driven Skills Training Fund.
