Kenyan entrepreneur Zedekiah Mukoya has urged young people to turn their creativity into practical solutions that can generate income and create employment.

Mukoya, the CEO of Wave 360 Africa, said young Kenyans have an opportunity to build businesses by identifying everyday problems and developing solutions that respond to the needs of their communities. He said creative companies can also compete effectively by understanding local cultures and using that knowledge to develop meaningful experiences for brands and their audiences.

“Kenya has incredible creative talent, and our responsibility is to keep creating work that delivers real value to brands, institutions and communities,” Mukoya told the Star by phone as he marked his 30th birthday.
