General Motors is pouring $30 million into training for employees of its Fairfax Assembly Plant in Kansas City, Kansas, as it transitions to next-generation gasoline-powered vehicle production at the site.
The training will happen on-the-job, meaning the hourly and salaried employees will learn as part of their shift time and will be paid at the same rate as their time on the line.
